Luke Bryan says He has gotten used to making music while social distancing. “At This point I’ve already done a half season of American Idol, and we did it from my barn. I’ve put out an album this year and tons of live streams. So, I’m just really so humbled by everyone behind the scenes working so hard to at least put on these shows and give people at home something to watch.”

It looks like Dierks Bentley might be ready to make his return to country music. Posting a series of teaser video clips to social media this week, hinting at something to come in the not-so-distant future. He’s got a bit of a different look too…sporting a longer, shaggier mullet-esque look…

It’s the end of the line for the Fast & Furious franchise! The rumor around Universal is they’re going to close with two final movies. All the regulars will be back AND Charlize Theron is rumored to portray her character Cipher once again, who debuted in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious. Fast & Furious 9 arrives May 28th of next year.

“Smokey and the Bandit” the series?? It’s in the works!! based on the 1977 film starring Burt Reynolds and Sally Field. The Hollywood Reporter says It’s being described at “an epic adventure of family, small-town crime, unlikely heroes, legend and legacy. No word on what network will pick it up yet.

OUR FIRST KIX CRITTER FOR 2025 IS RONNIE!!

Ronnie is a 3 year old German Shepherd mix that came to the shelter as a stray. He is seems to get along with cats and other dogs. If you have a current dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required.

Ronnie is an active dog that is looking for an active family to take him out on adventures. Ronnie's adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and various other treatments. If you are interested in Ronnie, please stop by the front desk or call 641-753-9046.

Demi Moore won her first acting award EVER last night at the Golden Globes, for "The Substance".  Other winners included "The Brutalist""Shogun""Emilia Perez", and "Hacks".

Aubrey Plaza's husband Jeff Baena took his own life on Friday.  Baena directed Aubrey in several movies, including "Life After Beth""The Little Hours", and "Spin Me Round".

The Carolina Panthers have had a rough season.  So, when a fan suggested Luke Combs be given a chance on defense, the country singer was into it.  He said, "I'm ready to suit up."  Unfortunately, the Panthers passed on the opportunity.  At 5-12 what could they lose?

The donkey who inspired Eddie Murphy's character in "Shrek" passed away after suffering a hoof disease.  He was 30 and lived at a pasture in Palo Alto, California.
