The List for Thursday, September 15th 2022

Welcome to The List,

The BBC has a dedicated, a live feed of Queen Elizabeth’s casket as she lies in state . . so that people can pay their respects without having to travel to London.  It ends Monday morning 6:30 a.m. London time, of course.  The Queen will be laid to rest later that day.

In nature…we learn things as we get older…Kelsea Ballerini turned 29 on Monday, so she made a list of everything she learned at 28.  It included, quote, “Being busy is my coping mechanism . . . Dirty martinis are delicious . . . I can keep a plant alive for 365 days . . . [and] not many things make me happier than playing Yahtzee.”

Ozzy Osbourne is currently battling Parkinson’s disease and is still recovering from a recent surgery. But, is determined to tour again, saying that his relationship with his fans is so important to him that he’s willing to be nailed to a board and wheeled out on stage.

We kinda touched on this yesterday but now It’s official:  Ashley McBryde is releasing a new album on September 30th called “Ashley McBryde Presents:  Lindeville”.  And if the album is half as fun to HEAR as it was to make, I’m in. She says It started a few years ago during songwriting sessions. adding “We stayed in Tennessee in this little house close to a lake.  It was eight bottles of tequila, two cartons of cigarettes, one kitchen table and six individuals out of their minds.”

Radar Online claims Will Smith has allegedly been banned from ”Saturday Night Live” because he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. A source tells the website, “Smith will never ever be invited back to SNL after what he did to Chris, Will won’t even be able to get a ticket to sit in the audience anymore. He’s not welcome” I don’t think even Chris Rock is holding that kind of grudge…

Without a doubt ”Top Gun: Maverick” has done a lot for the box office..and Reese Witherspoon tells the USA Today that ”Top Gun: Maverick” has inspired her and others to make ”Legally Blonde 3”. saying “I’m still hoping that Legally Blonde 3 is gonna come together in the right way. It’s just like Top Gun. They waited a long time to make another version of that movie, and I loved the nostalgia piece they incorporated in it…Yeah but Legally Blonde isn’t Top Gun…
