The List for Tuesday April 7th 2020

Welcome to The List – Entertainment news from the Sunset Strip to Music Row –

Jordan Davis Is staying safe while under self quarantine – Watching Movies And TV Shows During The Coronavirus Quarantine … “Hey everybody, it’s Jordan Davis. I hope everybody is staying healthy and safe during the social distancing. I know we’re catching up on some movies and some TV shows and also just spending a lot of time with my daughter and my wife, trying to get back into catching up on some books and just kind of re-centering and slowing down a little bit. I hope everybody’s kind of doing that. I hope everybody, like I said, stays healthy and safe, and I look forward to being back out and playing music for you guys.”

Justin Moore Is Binge-Watching While Social Distancing … “We watched ‘Breaking Bad’ recently. We were a little late to that party, but loved it. ‘Ozark’ we like. And then the thing that we watch a lot of, and this sounds terrible to be into this, but we are – all the stuff they’re doing on, like, the serial killers, like the Real True Crime stuff or whatever, you know, the Ted Bundy tapes. But that’s kind of the things that we’re watching right now. I’ll tell you what we just started that we’re way behind on, that we never watched when it was out but we’re way into it now, is ‘The Sopranos.’ I think we’re, like, halfway through the first season or something like that, so that’s the new one we’re on.”

The residents of The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living center in Round Rock, Texas got quite a surprise when their Sunday game of bingo was called by none other than Matthew McConaughey. The actor was asked by the facility to participate back in its Sunday bingo game back in September, and now that the native Texan is at home with his family during the COVID-19 lockdown, he used the video conferencing app Zoom to make it happen. Video of the star, along with his mother, Mary, and his wife Camila, and their kids, calling the game — to the delight of the residents — was posted to Facebook.

The Sun says Michael Jackson’s famous white glove has been auctioned off for $104,000. He wore it on stage and when performing ”Billie Jean.” An unidentified buyer bought the glove in Texas. Michael donated the glove to UNICEF in 1998

Today is National Beer Day. The Beer Institute recently asked 1,000 people what celebrities they would most like to share a beer with. The Rock topped the list followed by Tom Brady and Lady Gaga

The List for Thursday, January 2nd 2025

Welcome to The List,

Lainey Wilson and former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges were one of country music's most beloved couples of 2024, so it's only natural that fans are buzzing about whether they might be taking the next step and tying the knot sometime soon. Bunnie Xo is wondering, too. She confessed to Wilson that she's "manifesting" a wedding for her in 2025.  Lainey has even offered to propose to HIM!!

-----

It's not too unusual for Luke Combs to tease new music before releasing it, but this time, he's got one important question to go along with his unreleased demo. "Who should I duet this with?" he asked fans as he posted a clip of something that appears to be titled "More Less Than Perfect." Combs' new song is a love ballad with lyrics that appear to be directed at a person who fell in love with him, even though he thinks he doesn't deserve her attention.

-----

Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her "It Ends with Us" co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, according to court docs…as well as the film’s production company, Wayfarer Studios.  Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department on Dec. 20. On Dec. 31, Baldoni and his publicists also sued the New York Times for libel,  after the news outlet published a Dec. 20 article about Lively's claims that she'd been the victim of a smear campaign after speaking up about sexual harassment on the set of "It Ends with Us."

-----

And lastly, Megan Markle started the new year with a fresh Instagram post from a newly launched account. In it, the Duchess of Sussex happily runs barefoot along the sand on a beach while wearing a white button-up shirt and a pair of white jeans rolled up above the ankle.  Writing 20-25 in the sand before running out of the shot. Though the former “Suits” actress, 43, turned off the comments for the post, several stars showed their support by “liking” it, including her pals Serena Williams and Chrissy Teigen.

The List for Tuesday, December 31st 2024

Welcome to The List,

Eric Church Shares His Best Hangover Cures ... "The best hangover cure – I’ve got two. One is 5-hour Energy, because of all the B-vitamins that are in it. You can start pounding those, and it’s either gonna work, or it’s gonna keep you up and prolong your misery. But the other one I have is just take two Advil and a beer in the morning. Hair of the dog, man – that works every time"

-----

Keanu Reeves isn't ready for "John Wick" No. 5 just yet. The longtime action star told "CBS Mornings" that a new installment of the hitman series may have to wait for his body to recover. Saying "You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying 'You can't do another John Wick’. My heart does, but I don't know if my knees do," Reeves will return as Mr. Wick… in "Ballerina," a spinoff movie starring Ana de Armas set to premiere in 2025. His role is a mere cameo though.

-----

Sean 'Diddy' Combs allegedly had a meltdown at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center on Christmas. A source says, Diddy thought he'd be out on bail by now. He eventually managed to calm himself down with meditation.  Yeah, doing crime has a way of interrupting your plans sometimes.

-----

Jay Leno tells PEOPLE magazine that despite rumors, his recent injuries were not from getting beaten up by the mob due to gambling debts. "Well, I like the idea that they wouldn’t just take one of my cars for the gambling debt. I don’t gamble. Losing 100 bucks makes me feel stupider than winning one thousand makes me feel good. Because I go, ‘I could have taken my wife to dinner.' "
