The List for Tuesday, April 9th 2024

Welcome to The List,

The internet had a lot of jokes about Morgan Wallen’s chair throw on Sunday night.  One of the best ones so far is the clip from “Mission Impossible” of Tom Cruise throwing a chair out a window . . . and it says, “Morgan Wallen after the Appletini hits.”

Robert Downey Jr.says he’d happily return as Iron Man if he’s ever asked. Quote, “It’s too integral a part of my DNA.  That role chose me.  And look, I always say, never, ever bet against [Marvel president and producer] Kevin Feige.  It is a losing bet . . .”He’s the house.  He will always win.” Of course nothing is impossible when the multiverse is involved.

Kelsea Ballerini is calling it quits with hosting the CMT Music Awards after doing it for four years.  She loves it, but wants to do something new…

—–

CBS announced the series finale dates for three shows.  “Bob Hearts Abishola” ends May 6th, “Young Sheldon” on May 16th, and “S.W.A.T.” on May 17th

The List for Friday, November 22nd 2024

Welcome to The List,

Luke Combs was shocked to hear "People" magazine named him the sexiest 34-year-old on the planet.  He told a reporter that when he heard they put him on a list, he thought it was for eating the "most cheeseburgers."

-----

Keith Urban was doing an interview for a recent edition of Variety magazine when he said he has two sides to his personality. "I’ve got a dutiful, responsible, reliable side. And I’ve got this animalistic, wild, reckless, irresponsible, What does this button do?' side.  I constantly have to keep them both in check to make sure one side isn't taking more control than it should."

-----

Jay Leno recently suffered a 60-foot fall down a hill at a hotel resulting in injuries to his eyes and face that were left bruised along with a broken wrist.  Which has led to wild internet conspiracies that Jay has a “gambling problem” and debt collectors were sending a message…

-----

Lastly, remember Jussie Smollett? Well his conviction for allegedly staging a hate crime against himself has been overturned by the Illinois Supreme Court.  They ruled that he shouldn't have been prosecuted after making a deal with the D.A.
