As you may have already heard…Talk show pioneer Phil Donahue died Sunday.  He was 88.  His show went national in 1970 and ran until 1996.  Oprah says her show wouldn’t have existed if Phil hadn’t paved the way.

Jelly Roll just performed in front of celebrities at a small, private concert in the Hamptons.  He said, quote, “I never would have thought my fat, white trash [butt] would be in the Hamptons.  This is an incredible scene.”

Country Rebel says Carrie Underwood and Papa Roach recently collaborated on a song highlighting mental health awareness. The track, “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark),” debuted at number #1 on the Rock Digital Song Sales and Alternative Digital Song Sales charts. Carrie has more than a dozen country number #1 hits, but this is her first time topping the rock charts.

Radar Online says Channing Tatum is allegedly facing backlash from Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg regarding his plan to remake the movie “Ghost.” A source says, “Even though the remake is in the works, nobody is fooling themselves about what a minefield this is going to be.

Will Travis Kelce retire if the Chiefs win another Super Bowl? NBC says He just might, KC played Cleveland last weekend. Trav says, "It felt so surreal. I don't know if it's the last time I'll play in Cleveland, but it kinda felt like I was just giving it one last hoorah before I'm done because I've only played there twice in 12 years.

People Magazine says the Nashville Metro Council has approved a sign for Morgan Wallen’s bar nearly seven months after initially denying it. The decision comes after Wallen appeared in court for throwing a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar.

The Grand Ole Opry turns 100 next year and they are planning a lot of celebrations.  It will begin on January 3rd with a showcase from the Opry's longest-tenured member, 87-year-old Bill Anderson.
