Welcome to The List,

Howard Stern accused Oprah of showing off her wealth on Instagram.  Yesterday on his radio show Howard Stern, He said, quote, “Oprah’s not embarrassed by her wealth at all . . . It’s mind-blowing.  “You gotta be a little self-aware and know that there are people struggling out there.  You got to.  You gotta kind of think about people who don’t have enough to eat. “I mean, come on.  You gotta be a little bit aware of this.”

Jay Leno was back onstage Sunday night, two weeks after he suffered third-degree burns while working on one of his classic cars. Jay did an hour of standup at the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, where he’s been performing regularly since 1978. Reporters caught him on his way into the club, and of course, he had jokes.  He said, quote, “We’ve got two shows tonight, regular and extra crispy.”  Then he added, quote, “I never thought of myself as a roast comic.”

Netflix has a new series based on ‘The Addams Family’ called “Wednesday” If you’ve watched it you’ve probably noticed Wednesday Addams doesn’t blink too much.  Which turned out to be a request from Tim Burton. In an interview with “Teen Vogue”, Jenna Ortega who plays Wednesday said, “I did a take where I did not blink at all.  And Tim said, ‘I don’t want you to blink anymore’ . . .it’s a bit more intimidating.

Blake Shelton has teamed up with some rock and roll heavyweights for a good cause.  They covered the Tom Petty song “I Won’t Back Down”, and it’s currently streaming on the site GoodNoise.io. Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit from the Eagles are on it, and so is Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum.  Proceeds go to The Miraculous Love Kids, which gives guitar lessons to girls from war-torn countries like Afghanistan.

Skip Ewing

Skip Ewing has a new song called Road Dog about his dog Shotgun, who likes to sit in the front seat, he called me last week to thank the station for playing the song.

That's were it started and I realized I needed to talk to him and record the conversation.

We talked about Road Dog and I brought up the song Would If I Could. I wanted to hear the "rest of the story" behind that gem.

I brought up the Fur Ball the yearly fund raiser for The ARL and Skip thought it would be fun if he could do a video with Shotgun for the event. That video can be seen when you click on the KIX app!!

The video for the song has fan's dogs featured and by popular demand another video featuring more pictures of his fan's dogs is being planned!

Jennifer Lopez is not happy with Ben Affleck spilling tea about their divorce! A source says she’s fed up with him using their breakup for press and is this close to dropping all the receipts. Another insider adds, “If he thinks he’s rewriting the ending, he’s wrong.” Sounds like Bennifer: The Sequel might get real messy..

-----

Jelly Roll had to miss his big Grand Ole Opry duet with Ashley McBryde, and fans were shook! Instead, Post Malone stepped in for a surprise Johnny & June tribute. But where was Jelly? Turns out, he was battling a fever so bad he slept 20 hours straight! “Broke my heart, man,” he said. Don’t worry, Jelly—next time, just send a doctor’s note!

Hailey Whitters just learned a very important life lesson—always check the toilet before sitting! The country singer found a bat chilling under the rim after she had already used the bathroom. The result? Five rabies shots and a viral TikTok moment. Pest control thinks it came through the chimney, but Hailey’s still wondering how it landed in that spot.
